British Science Week!

This week as part of British Science Week Mercury Class have explored the question- Are the oldest children always the tallest? We made predictions that we thought it wasn’t always true. So we had to prove our predictions!

First we all lined up in age order from 1 being the oldest and 30 being the youngest. Later on in the week we were all measured in cms, then we rearranged ourselves into height order, whilst still holding our original numbers. I think you can clearly see that the oldest children aren’t necessarily the tallest.

We all had lots of fun carrying out the pattern seeking experiment!
