2D shapes!
Last week Mercury Class had a shape hunt in our classroom looking for 2D shapes. Today we worked with our talk partners to sort various 2D shapes.
African masks
Our LCC questions is- Where would you prefer to live: England or Africa? As part of our art lessons we have been designing and making our own masks. We will finish making them next week! Photos coming soon!
Red Nose Day!
Today Mercury Class came to school dressed as superheroes for Comic Relief! We’ve had a fantastic day making each other laugh and enjoying the sunshine!
British Science Week
Today Mercury Class had fun with science! We carried out a number of experiments- the floating egg, dancing raisins, floating m and m’s and the skittles rainbow.
We all made predictions, observations and discussed the findings. We had a fun afternoon!
